The majority of our household still bank at a branch of the bank for which dh used to work. A couple of days ago, eldest ds alerted me to their new money manager program after he registered for it. It looks good to me - and it provides spending graphs, which I think is wonderful - so I've just registered too. Though we are clients of the bank, it does say you don't have to be. You can learn about it here: anzmoneymanager.com.au/It took about two minutes to register and upload my accounts (may not work overseas) and produce a lovely graph of my spending. For someone like me, who's used to having control over spending but who has been OVERWHELMED with bills, car repairs, tyres (another kid needs them) this year, it's a marvellous way to see exactly what's going on. Linda, the other free program I've heard good things about - and which is American so may have a better chance of working in your country - is mint.com It's pretty cool having the visual of your spending. The spike in spending for the previous two weeks made for an interesting picture. Elisa
