Hi guys. I have just come home from a long trip, now I feel like I need a bath, I dunno, must have been too long a trip. dd12 had the remainder of her baby teeth out, was a big job. The orthodontist wanted it done. She is much better now she is home, and happy enough. I met an online friend while out as well, big day, four hours of driving at least, and still very warm to me. DD16 bought a vaccum cleaner. I have never had one, we are still using the one dh and his first wife bought. It is pretty much dead now unless we like vaccuming on our knees.

Is your dd ok now, Br, after having the baby teeth out?
What a massive day - four hours driving is a lot, especially with everything else you did.
Younger ds got the "so far everything's ok" from the ENT this morning. It takes 6 weeks for everything to heal up so he's got a way to go yet. Once the pain stops and also once he can eat he'll feel better.
There was a big traffic jam on the way to the ENT's office. Ds was getting a bit frazzled so I turned off and went along the side streets. Where, unfortunately, there was a bunch of roadwork going on...however, by good luck we managed to get through it all and were able to bypass the problem on the main road and get ahead of the traffic.
Not only did we arrive on time, but there was a single vacant parking spot right out the front just waiting for us! Talk about lucky! ;D
Not much else doing, just trying to keep ds comfy and fit in the chores, shopping, etc.
Oh, I forgot to say - that's great about the vacuum cleaner, Br. Should make life much easier!

It is beautiful, I really like it, red and grey, from BigW. It is a dyson look alike and works really well. The other one will be used for the car or jobs that are dirty outside or building jobs.
I have a similar trip this Wednesday just dd20 and I and we are having lunch with my Mum. I will wash the dress and wear it again maybe. Mum won't like the uneven hem, so maybe I should rethink lol.
That is wonderful about the parking spot Elisa.
dd12 is eating soft food still, mashed potatoes for dinner. Her face looks fine, she hasn't had to take any pain killers.
She and I ate the last of the pavlova we had yesterday for Australia Day and dh and I's 29th anniversary.
