Hi guys.
I am here near midnight dh is helping ds22 with uni homework, has been like this for a few days lol. I have noticed that the frogs come out to make a heap of noise that I can hear from my room at this time, usually I can only here they when I visit the small room.
We went woodcollecting today, I made dh park near the edge and get a tree near there because for the past two or so weeks trees in general in our part of the state have been falling because of the wet I think. Very pretty day.

Scary thought, having a big tree come down near where you are, Br.
Beautiful morning, ideal for washing and also for the builders who have reappeared at the house behind us after a very brief break. Unfortunately.
Quiet week coming up. I hope to get over to Bunnings to buy a couple of big plastic pots for the tomato seeds that I had better plant soon. They didn't get too far last year, but I planted them too late. Might buy one tomato plant as well. I'm just not sure what the possum will do to them.
The rain and humidity we've had of late has caused a bumper crop of snails to appear. I've put squeamishness aside and have been picking the disgusting things off the garden bed and surrounds.
They're mostly very small snails, though just as revolting.

Hi everyone, Ahhh...wood collecting...I am familiar with that, BR. I hope you were able to get some wood. I detest snails too, Elisa. We get slugs here and they're great big huge things. I've never seen them so big (we had them in Ontario, but they were quite small). Yuck.... It's been raining here now for a few days. Hopefully, it will stop soon. It could be worse...it could be snow....but enough of the rain already. I've been working a lot on chocolate this week. We're going to our first market of the year tomorrow and I'm adding a bit of fudge into the mix. Seeing as it's our first one of the year, we need to have an inspection done by a gov't food inspector. I'm hoping that goes ok. The dc are working tonight, dh and I will get groceries. We do live a very exciting life, I know...... Hope everyone has a good weekend. Linda
