Well what a night. For the second night running the migraine pain/nausea woke me up in the small hours, which is never a good thing.
After dropping dd at the train I came home and lay down for over an hour - after taking a couple of Panadol to dull the ache - and I've felt progressively better as the day has gone on. Migraines are such a waste of a few days.
It's been a very quiet week. Today's highlight was that I started making a friendship band for dd. Some time back I posted a link to a site with good instructions, but I've found plenty more. I've done about an inch so there's quite a way to go yet lol.
My niece - dh's brother's youngest - had her first child yesterday, a boy. They'll be delighted. Her partner is a lovely young man and will be a great dad. My niece is a few months younger than dd and it does seem strange to think that the situation could be reversed, however they're very different girls. My niece is very organized and will be a terrific mother, just like her own mum.
Back to tying bracelet knots.

Hi everyone.... Do y'all remember me? ..... it's been a long time since I've posted. It's difficult when I'm away (Internet connections are always so slow at best and quite often non existent). Glad to hear the migraine pain has let up some, Elisa. Not fun for sure. We're still trying to get back into the swing of things here. The septic tank has now been replaced, so hopefully we've seen the last of those issues. I can see the days getting shorter as well as the sun moving along the horizon as it rises each morning...both of which remind me winter is on the way. We've all been watching hurricane Gabrielle as it decides which path it is going to take. Thankfully, it didn't come here. We are getting a bit of the outside of it...but just some rain and a bit of wind (no different than any other storm). Linda
