It is quite hot inside at the moment. At 7.30pm it is still light outside. Fan weather again.
DD is at the restaurant, she is cooking pasta tonight. After a few weeks they change the menu. So so far she has cooked one main, probably with another person, and two entrees.
I talked to Mum and older ds today. We are trying a version of Toad in the Hole for dinner/tea tonight. Only problem is that it takes ages to cook.
I have started a shopping list. DD has talked lots since she came home from school. DD7 had another music lesson today, dd12 had a saxophone lesson at school as well.
I had my new sauce just like tomato sauce/ketcup on some stew on toast for lunch and I enjoyed it. I suppose it is the homemade taste or something. I grew up on Ezy Sauce sauces so it could be just the familiarity of the taste.
I did a bit of bathroom cleaning and the day seemed to go very quickly.

I have just got home from the hospital. DH has been admitted with some serious health issues. His left lung is filled with fluid and is causing pressure on his heart and right lung. The left kidney has a very large lesion that is possibly cancerous. It would appear that this has metastasised to his lungs. There is also something blocking a vein to the heart.
Tonight the medical staff are slowly draining some of the fluid off, they can only drain a little at a time as it could cause the heart to be startled. Tomorrow he will be transferred to the medical ward, and then he will probably see an oncologist and have some tests to get some answers.
At the moment we are all a little stunned. Please pray for DH – he is very uncomfortable, for each of the girls, R, E, and E, are all a long way away for something like this. H is shattered and I am struggling.
I haven't had a chance to look at the other posts, I am sorry, I will have to catch up later.

Sue, I am so glad you can follow what doctors say to you, but it sounds like a lot. I'm so sorry. I understand how you must feel for your kids as well because it is hard to guess what they are feeling when you are busy and not with them. Yes, thinking back Linda is right. Yes, hugs from me too. I hope you have been able to go to sleep. You situation is different I'm not sure if it would help, but this lady is going through similar with the same amount of similar aged children. I'm sorry you won't be able to get a lot of rest. theolddairy.blogspot.com/I will pray too. My words are inadequate but thinking of you.
